Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96) 
  2. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement

    Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Clamp(1) @ Radiator - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  4. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose(2) @ Radiator - Remove

    NOTE:

    The throttle body is removed for illustration purposes only.

    Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Clamp(1) @ Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe(3) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 

  6. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose(2) @ Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe(3) - Remove
  7. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose - Remove
