Removal Procedure

    Remove the left side rear door trim panel. Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24)

  2. Remove the lock rod (3) and bumper (2) from the left side rear door upper latch (4).
  3. Remove the 2 bolts (1) that retains the left side rear door upper latch (4) to the door.
  4. Remove the left side rear door upper latch (4) from the door.
