Removal Procedure

    Remove the rear door trim panel - left side. Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24)

  2. Remove the lock rod (1) from the left side rear door lower latch (2).
  3. Remove the 4 bolts (4) and rear side door inner panel latch reinforcement (3) that retains the left side rear door lower latch (2) to the door.
  4. Remove the left side rear door lower latch (2) from the door.
