Installation Procedure

    Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable(2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Nut(3)@Battery Positive Junction Block (1) - Install and tighten10 N.m (89 lb in)
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Retainer(1) - Engage[5x]

  5. Retainer Clip(2) - Engage

    Retainer(1) - Engage[8x]

    Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable(3) - Install

  9. Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable Fastener(2)@Auxiliary Battery - Install and tighten14 N.m (124 lb in)
  10. Protective Cap(1) - Install
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Install the battery tray. Battery Tray Replacement 
  13. Connect the primary and auxiliary battery negative cables. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
