Preliminary Procedures
- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
- Remove the front seat belt from the front seat belt height adjuster. Front Seat Belt Retractor Replacement

Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Procedure
- Pull the trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the retainers and to clear the front seat belt assembly.
- When replacing the center pillar upper trim panel, feed the seat belt through the panel.
- Ensure the seat belt webbing does not become trapped during installation.
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
