Removal Procedure

- Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Right Side - Remove
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube@Camshaft Cover - Disconnect
- Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 1 - Remove
- Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust - Remove
- Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake - Remove
- Disconnect and remove the engine harness from the camshaft cover.
Remove the fuel feed pipe bracket bolt (1) and reposition the fuel feed lines. Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (LGX at Engine) , or Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Fuel Tank To Engine LGX)
Camshaft Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [18x]
- Camshaft Cover (2) - Remove
- Camshaft Cover Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
- Disassemble the camshaft cover as needed. Camshaft Cover Disassemble .
- Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and the camshaft cover. Camshaft Cover Cleaning and Inspection
