Installation Procedure

- Assemble the camshaft cover as needed. Camshaft Cover Assemble .

Place a bead 8 mm (0.3150 in) in width by 4 mm (0.1575 in) in height of RTV sealant equivalent, on the engine front cover split lines (1). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Camshaft Cover Seal (2) - Install a NEW seal.
- Camshaft Cover (3) Install
- Camshaft Cover Bolt (4) - Loosely install [18x]
- Tighten in the sequence shown 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Position and install the engine harness to the camshaft cover.
- Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake - Install - Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake
- Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust - Install - Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust
- Ignition Coil@Bank 2 - Install [3x] - Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube@Camshaft Cover - Connect
Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator@Left Side (1) - Install - Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Left Side
