Installation Procedure

NOTE:
Verify the NEW or old sensor is equipped with a NEW O-ring, DO NOT reuse the old O-ring seal.

Install the vehicle speed sensor (2) with a NEW O-ring seal.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Connect the vehicle speed sensor electrical connector (2).
Lower the vehicle.
