Removal Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Using a flat bladed trim tool, detach the front floor console trim plate (1) from the console.
- Lift the transmission control lever boot to access the shift knob screw (2).
Remove the shift knob screw, then lift off the transmission control lever boot and knob assembly.
Using the trim tool, release the shift boot from the front floor console trim plate by releasing the 6 retaining clips (1).
NOTE:
The transmission control lever boot and knob are replaced as an assembly.

Release the front floor console trim plate, using the trim tool in the location (arrow) shown.
