Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the transmission control from the vehicle. Transmission Control Replacement (MH3, MJK, MM6) , or Transmission Control Replacement (M13) .

    Disconnect the gear position sensor electrical connector (1).

  3. Remove the four gear position sensor retainers (2).
    4. NOTE:

    Do Not remove component (4) from the mounting plate (3). These components are serviced as a assembly.

  4. Remove the gear position sensor assembly (3) from the transmission.
