Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- {P18C4, P18C5} Gate Select Position Sensor = 10 to 90%
- {P18C6, P18C7} Gear Shift Position Sensor = 10 to 90%
- If not between 10 and 90%
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If between 10 and 90%
- Operate the component: Shift Control Lever - Select each position
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- {P18C4, P18C5} Gate Select Position Sensor =
- 11 to 32% - Gear 1, 2
- 32 to 51% - Gear 3, 4
- 49 to 71% - Gear 5, 6
- 67 to 90% - Gear 7, R
- {P18C6, P18C7} Gear Shift Position Sensor =
- 65 to 79% - Gear 1, 3, 5, 7
- 42 to 52% - Neutral 3-4
- 11 to 29% - Gear 2, 4, 6, R
- If not the specified values

- Go to next step: If the specified values
- {P18C4, P18C5} Gate Select Position Sensor =
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
