- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor = -39 to 159°C (-38 to 318°F)

- Go to next step: -39 to 159°C (-38 to 318°F)
WARNING:Road test a vehicle under safe conditions and while obeying all traffic laws. Do not attempt any maneuvers that could jeopardize vehicle control. Failure to adhere to these precautions could lead to serious personal injury and vehicle damage.
- -39 to 159°C (-38 to 318°F)
- Operate the cold vehicle above 64 km/h (40 MPH) for 10 min.
Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor = Temperature increases greater than 2°C (4°F)
- If the value does not change

- Go to next step: If the value changes
- If the value does not change
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- All OK.
