Removal Procedure

    Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control Replacement (2) - Remove

    Instrument Cluster Replacement (2) - Remove

    Low Frequency Instrument Panel Antenna Replacement (1) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Replacement - Driver Side (2) - Remove

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

    Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [14x]

  7. Note the location and routing of the instrument panel wiring harness prior to removal to ensure proper installation.
  8. Disconnect the data link connector.
  9. Remove the hood primary latch release cable handle by pressing the release cable handle upward to release the retainers from the instrument panel bracket.
  10. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  11. With the aid of an assistant, remove the instrument panel lower trim panel (2) from the vehicle.
