Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument panel carrier (2) into the vehicle.
Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into vehicle position as was noted in the removal process and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument panel assembly.
Install the right and left floor flood lamps by gently releasing the tab on the lamp assemblies.
Install the data link connector fasteners and position the data link connector out of the way.
Install the instrument panel carrier nuts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the instrument panel upper trim panel fasteners (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the instrument carrier fasteners (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

Install the instrument carrier fasteners (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
Install the communication interface module bracket fasteners (2) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

Install the air distributor front duct fasteners (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
