Circuit/System Testing

- Perform the engine compression test. Refer to Engine Compression Test
.
- If one or more of the cylinders indicate low compression
Refer to: Symptoms - Engine Mechanical
- Go to next step: If all cylinders indicate normal compression
- If one or more of the cylinders indicate low compression
- Replace the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector on the cylinders that did not have a noticeable differences during cancellation.
NOTE:
During replacement of the injectors, inspect the inlet and outlet fittings for corrosion or contamination. Refer to Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis .
