Installation Procedure

    Install the control valve body cover wiring connector hole seal (1).

  2. Control Valve Body Cover Gasket - Install
  3. NOTE:

    Mind the guides (3).

  4. Control Valve Body Cover (2) - Install

    NOTE:

    The numbers (2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11) are stud bolts.

    Control Valve Body Cover Bolt - Install [12x] - Hand tighten

  6. Control Valve Body Cover Bolt - Tighten in sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (3, 4) - Install [2x]

  8. Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (5) - Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  9. Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Nut (1, 2) - Install and tighten [3x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. Install the body ground cable and wiring harness assembly to the front of the transmission.

    Connect the control valve body transmission control module electrical connector (1), then clip the 12 wiring harness retainers (2) to the cover.

  12. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement
  13. Engine Control Module and Electronic Brake Control Module Bracket - Install - Engine Control Module and Electronic Brake Control Module Bracket Replacement
  14. Radiator Inlet Hose - Install - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (1.6L Diesel LH7)
  15. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  16. Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill 
  17. Check the transmission fluid level. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
  18. Check for leaks.
