Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Front Compartment Insulator - Remove - Front Compartment Insulator Replacement
  3. Fig 1: Identifying Transmission Fluid Pan Drain Plug

    Remove and DISCARD the fluid pan drain plug (1).

  4. Drain transmission fluid into a suitable container.
    5. CAUTION:

    Component Fastener Tightening Caution

  5. Install a NEW fluid pan drain plug (1) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
