Installation Procedure

Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the fluid fill cap (1), if accessible.
- Remove the left front wheel and tire assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

Remove the fluid filler plug (1) from the transmission.
- Fill the transmission to the proper level with the correct fluid. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check , and Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
Install the fluid fill cap (1), if accessible.

Install the fluid filler plug (1) to the transmission and tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
- Front Compartment Insulator - Install - Front Compartment Insulator Replacement
- Install the left front wheel and tire assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
NOTE:
If the transmission fluid filler cap cannot be accessed, proceed to the next step in this procedure.
