Removal Procedure
Fuel Injector (1) - Remove [4x] - Fuel Injector Replacement
Camshaft Housing (2) - Remove - Camshaft Housing Replacement
Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Housing (1) - Remove - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Housing Replacement
Catalytic Converter (3) - Remove - Catalytic Converter Replacement

Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Connector Fitting (5) - Remove - Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Connector Fitting Replacement
Timing Chain Upper Cover (2) - Remove - Timing Chain Upper Cover Replacement
Engine Lift Bracket - Right Side (1) @ Cylinder Head - Install
- Engine Lift Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
Engine Lift Bracket - Left Side (1) @ Cylinder Head - Install
- Engine Lift Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
Transmission (3) - Remove
Automatic Transmission Flex Plate (1) - Remove - Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement
Crankshaft Position Sensor Reluctor Ring (1) - Remove - Crankshaft Position Sensor Reluctor Ring Replacement (Automatic Transmission)
Oil Pan (2) - Remove - Oil Pan Replacement (Automatic Transmission)
Timing Chain Lower Cover (2) - Remove - Timing Chain Lower Cover Replacement
Crankshaft Pulley (1) - Remove - Crankshaft Pulley Replacement
Crankshaft Pulley Bolt (1) - Install [4x]
- Lower the vehicle.
- NOTE:
If the bores are not aligned, turn the crankshaft at the crankshaft pulley bolts.
Check if the bores (1) are aligned.
Turn the exhaust camshaft at the hexagon so far so that the EN-51143 fixing tool (1) can be installed.
- Raise the vehicle.
Crankshaft Pulley Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
EN-51140 Fixing Tool (2) - Install
- Install the fixing pin into the engine block bore (1) and tighten the 2 bolts (3).
- If the EN-51140 fixing tool can not installed. Camshaft Timing Chain Adjustment
- Lower the vehicle.
Tension the timing chain tensioner (1) in arrow direction.
- EN-50513 Pin (2) - Install
Timing Chain Tensioner Shoe Bolt (2) - Remove
- Timing Chain Tensioner Shoe (1) - Remove
Timing Chain Lower Guide Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Timing Chain Lower Guide (1) - Remove
Timing Chain Upper Guide Bolt (1) - Loosen
- Timing Chain Upper Guide Bolt (3) - Remove
- Move the timing chain upper guide in the direction of arrow.
Timing Chain (1) - Remove
Remove the upper timing chain upper guide bolt (2).
- Timing Chain Upper Guide (1) - Remove
