Engine Block Assemble

Install the 10 lower crankcase guide sleeves (1).

CAUTION:

Piston Oil Nozzle (2) - Install [4x]
Piston Oil Nozzle Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [4x] 10 N.m (89 lb in)

Engine Block Coolant Drain Hole Plug (2) - Install and tighten 65 N.m (48 lb ft)
Engine Block Oil Gallery Plug (3) - Install and tighten 65 N.m (48 lb ft)
Engine Block Core Hole Plug (1) - Install NEW
Catalytic Converter Stud (4) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

Engine Block Coolant Drain Hole Plug (2) - Install and tighten 65 N.m (48 lb ft)
Engine Block Oil Gallery Plug (3) - Install and tighten [4x] 65 N.m (48 lb ft)
Engine Block Core Hole Plug (1) - Install NEW

CAUTION:
Component Fastener Tightening Caution

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (5) - Install and tighten 35 N.m (26 lb ft)
Install the piston oil nozzle oil control solenoid valve (4).
Install the 2 piston oil nozzle oil control solenoid valve bolts (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (3) - Install and tighten 33 N.m (24 lb ft)
Engine Oil Pressure Switch (1) - Install and tighten 35 N.m (26 lb ft)

Install the 2 cylinder head guide sleeves (1).
Check that the 2 deflectors (2) are installed in the engine block and install 2 NEW deflectors if the deflectors are missing.
