Measuring Procedure

    Install the EN-21867 - 850  adapter to the engine block and tighten to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

  2. Install the GE-498-B  Oil Pressure Gauge (1) to the EN-21867-850  Oil Pressure Gage Adapter.
  3. Install the exhaust front pipe. Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (1.6L Diesel LH7)
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  6. Start the engine.
  7. NOTE:

    The oil temperature should be between 80°C (176°F) and 100°C (212°F).

  8. Measure the oil pressure. Compare the engine oil pressure with the nominal value. Engine Mechanical Specifications 
  9. Stop engine.
  10. If the engine oil pressure is below specifications, inspect the engine for one or more of the following conditions:
