Installation Procedure

Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting seal (6).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting (5).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose bracket bolt (8) to the water outlet and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bolt (7) to lower crankcase and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the 2 power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bolts (4) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose to the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum control solenoid valve (2).
- Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting bracket bolt (3) to the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness bracket (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the power brake booster inlet hose connector fitting (2) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator pipe (1).
Connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (2) to the power brake booster inlet hose fitting (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
- Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler housing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Housing Replacement .
- Remove the throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
- Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
