Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the suitable closure plugs.

    Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) - Install NEW

    3. NOTE:

    Counterhold at the fuel injection pump hexagon connector.

  3. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) @ Fuel Injection Pump (4) - Install
  4. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) @ Fuel Rail (3) - Install
    5. NOTE:

    Counterhold at the fuel injection pump hexagon connector.

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  5. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) @ Fuel Injection Pump (4) - Tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
  6. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe (2) @ Fuel Rail (3) - Tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
  7. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  9. Check the fuel system for leaks. Fuel Leak Diagnosis
  10. Install the engine sight shield. Engine Sight Shield Replacement
