Installation Procedure
Turn the clutch master cylinder against clockwise to tighten the clutch master cylinder to the brake, accelerator, and clutch pedal assembly.
- Connect the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder rod.
Install the third-hand-feature (1) to the vehicle.
- Position the brake, accelerator and clutch pedal assembly to the vehicle.
Install the NEW click fit connector (1) to the brake pedal.
Connect the brake pedal push rod (1) to the brake pedal (2).
- Install the wiring harness to brake, accelerator and clutch pedal assembly.
Install the 2 third hand features (arrows) to the brake and accelerator pedal assembly (2).
- Bolt (1) - Loosely install [4x]
- Connect the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder rod.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Tighten the 4 brake pedal bracket bolts (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement - Install
- Accelerator Pedal Replacement - Install
- Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side - Install
- Steering Column Replacement - Install
- Install the intermediate steering shaft to the power steering. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
Install the 3 brake pedal bracket nuts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- NOTE:
Clutch actuator cylinder front pipe must engage noticeably.
Clutch Actuator Cylinder Pipe (2) - Install
- Clutch Actuator Cylinder Pipe Retainer (1) - Install
Connect the 3 brake pressure pipes (1) from the brake pipe retainer (2)
Install the brake pressure module valve bracket bolt (1) to the brake pressure module valve bracket (2) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the 2 power brake booster bolts (1) to the power brake booster and tighten to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
- NOTE:
Ensure all passages of the vacuum pipe are clean and free of debris prior to installation.
If equipped, connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (2) to the power brake booster.
- If equipped, connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (2) to the power brake booster vacuum pipe retainer (1)
- NOTE:
Ensure all passages of the vacuum pipe are clean and free of debris prior to installation.
If equipped, connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe sensor (2) to the power brake booster.
- If equipped, connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe sensor connector (3) to the power brake booster vacuum pipe sensor.
- If equipped, connect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (4) to the power brake booster vacuum pipe retainer (1).
Install the brake fluid level indicator switch plug (1) to the brake fluid level indicator switch (2).
- Install the brake fluid return hose (3) to the brake fluid reservoir (4).
Radiator Surge Tank (1) - Install
- Radiator Surge Tank Clip (2) - Install
- Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement - Install
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Connect
- Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement - Install
- Learn the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Control Module References .
- Learn the clutch pedal position sensor. Refer to Control Module References .
Protect interior against draining brake fluid from clutch master cylinder.
