Removal Procedure

Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement - Remove

Radiator Surge Tank Clip (2) - Remove
Hang out the radiator surge tank (1) without disconnecting the hoses and lay down carefully.

Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

If equipped, disconnect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (2) from the power brake booster.
If equipped, disconnect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (2) from the power brake booster vacuum pipe retainer (1)

If equipped, disconnect the power brake booster vacuum pipe sensor connector (3) from the power brake booster vacuum pipe sensor.
If equipped, disconnect the power brake booster vacuum pipe (4) from the power brake booster vacuum pipe retainer (1).
If equipped, disconnect the power brake booster vacuum pipe sensor (2) from the power brake booster.

Power Brake Booster Bolt (1) - Remove

Remove the brake pressure module valve bracket bolt (1) from the brake pressure module valve bracket (2).

Disconnect the 3 brake pressure pipes (1) from the brake pipe retainer (2)

Pull the power brake booster carefully to front and remove the 3 brake pedal bracket nuts (1).
Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement - Remove
With the wheels of the vehicle in the straight ahead position, LOCK the steering column.
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect
Intermediate Steering Shaft@Steering Gear - Disconnect - Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

NOTE:

Do NOT remove the steering wheel.

Steering Column Replacement - Remove
Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side - Remove
Accelerator Pedal Replacement - Remove
Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement - Remove

Disconnect the brake pedal push rod (1) from the brake pedal (2). Press the 2 tabs of the click fit connector (3) together and pull the brake pedal a bit to facilitate the removal.

Remove and DISCARD the click fit connector (1).

Remove the 3 third-hand-features (1) and (2) from the brake pedal assembly bracket (arrows).

Remove the 4 brake pedal bracket bolts (1) from the tie bar.
Separate the wiring harness from the brake pedal bracket.
Remove the brake pedal assembly from the vehicle.
