Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .
CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .
- Dash Upper Extension Panel Opening Cover Replacement - Remove
Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Clip (2) - Remove
- Radiator Surge Tank (1) - Reposition away
Electrical Connector (1)@Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch (2) - Disconnect
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1)@Brake Master Cylinder Assembly (2) - Remove
- Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the brake master cylinder outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe (1)@Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (3) - Remove
- Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the BPMV inlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
NOTE:
Do NOT disconnect the engine coolant hoses.
