Removal Procedure

  1. Fuel Tank Filler Door - Remove - Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement 
  2. Fuel Tank Filler Cap @ Fuel Tank Filler Pipe - Remove
  3. {If equipped} Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Filler Cap @ Emission Reduction Fluid Tank Opening Filler - Remove

    Push a screwdriver through the 4 slots (1) in the fuel tank filler housing.

  5. Use the screwdriver to break the retaining tabs (2) on the fuel tank filler housing.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Remove the fuel tank filler housing (1).
