Installation Procedure

  1. GM3686945

    Install the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (1).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve bolt (2) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  3. GM3686944

    Install the 3 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hoses (1, 3, 7) to the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (5).

  4. Install the 3 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hose clamps (2, 4, 6). Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  5. Connect the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve wiring harness plug (8) to the turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (5).
  6. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement 
  7. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
  8. Perform the intake system learned values reset. Intake System Learned Values Reset
