Final Turbine Shaft Seal Installation

1	Turbine Shaft Seal Procedure Flip assembly over so the long shaft is pointing downward. Lube the Turbine Shaft Seal and then install the Turbine Shaft Seal by hand slowly. Ensure the seal is not rolled upon installation. NOTE: Seal robustness may be improved if the sizer is left on until the shaft is installed in the Triple Clutch Housing. Install the DT-52088 Turbine Shaft Seal Sizer over the end of the turbine shaft and seal. The DT-52088 Turbine Shaft Seal Sizer should stay installed for at least 5 minutes before removal. Procedure

Flip assembly over so the long shaft is pointing downward.
Lube the Turbine Shaft Seal and then install the Turbine Shaft Seal by hand slowly. Ensure the seal is not rolled upon installation.

NOTE:

Seal robustness may be improved if the sizer is left on until the shaft is installed in the Triple Clutch Housing.

Install the DT-52088 Turbine Shaft Seal Sizer over the end of the turbine shaft and seal. The DT-52088 Turbine Shaft Seal Sizer should stay installed for at least 5 minutes before removal.
