Removal Procedure

Brake Dust Warning
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel)
- Remove Front Brake Rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement (JD9)Front Brake Rotor Replacement (J95)
- Disconnect Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector
- Release Wheel Speed Sensor Electrical Connector Clip (1)
- Release Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) @ Brake Hose
- Release Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) @ Steering Knuckle
- Remove the front wheel hub and bearing bolts. Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing and Seal Replacement (Light Duty)Front Wheel Hub, Bearing and Seal Replacement (Heavy Duty)
- Remove the front wheel hub and bearing assembly from the steering knuckle while carefully feeding the wheel speed sensor harness through the brake shield.
- Remove Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (1)
- Remove Wheel Speed Sensor (1)
