Installation Procedure

- Install the power vacuum brake booster assembly (1) to the vehicle.
- Install the brake, accelerator and clutch pedal bracket nuts (1) retaining the power vacuum brake booster assembly and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Connect the brake booster pushrod (3) to the brake pedal.
- Install the retaining clip (1) and pin (2) to the brake pedal.
- Install the I/P knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement .
- Install the engine throttle body assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement (L5Q)Throttle Body Assembly Replacement (LV7) .
- Install the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (RHD) .
- Install the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (RHD) .
- Install the power vacuum brake booster check valve and hose assembly to the brake booster grommet. Refer to Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve and Hose Replacement (RHD) .
- Install the brake master cylinder assembly. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement (RHD) .
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
