Installation Procedure

- Install the master cylinder reservoir, if removed. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (RHD Home Reservoir) .
- Install the brake master cylinder (1) to the power vacuum brake booster.
- Install the brake master cylinder nuts (1) and tighten to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
- Connect the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe fitting. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (RHD) .
- Connect the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe fitting. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (RHD) .
- Connect the brake master cylinder reservoir hose (2) to the brake master cylinder home reservoir and install the brake master cylinder reservoir hose clamp (1).
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (L5Q)Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LV7) .
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
