Installation Procedure

- Install the following components to the ABC pedal assembly, as necessary.
- Accelerator pedal assembly
- Brake pedal position sensor or brake pedal position switch
- Brake pedal assembly
- Install the brake, accelerator and clutch pedal assembly (2) to the vehicle.
- Install the brake, accelerator and clutch pedal bracket nuts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Connect the brake booster pushrod (3) to the brake pedal.
- Install the retaining clip (1) and pin (2) to the brake pedal.
- Connect the clutch master cylinder pushrod retainer to the clutch pedal, if equipped. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement (Left Hand Drive)Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
- Connect the electrical connectors to the accelerator pedal, brake pedal position sensor and clutch pedal position sensor, if equipped.
- Install the steering column assembly. Refer to Steering Column Replacement .
- Install the intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
- Install the I/P knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement .
- Install the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
- Install the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement .
