Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the automatic transmission range select lever. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the manual shift shaft position switch electrical connector (1) from the manual shift shaft position switch (2).

  3. Remove the manual shift shaft position switch bolts (3).
  4. Remove the manual shift shaft position switch (2) from the transmission.
