Disassembly Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (35L (9 US Gallon) Tank) .
  2. Remove the fuel feed/evaporative emission separator assembly (1) from the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Disconnect the fuel tank wiring harness (2) from the fuel tank.
  4. Remove fuel feed/evaporative emission separator hose (3) from the fuel tank. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Remove the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (35L (9 US Gallon) Tank) .
