Removal Procedure

- Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body and position the air cleaner outlet duct aside. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LV7) .
- Disconnect the fuel feed pipe fitting (2) from the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the retainer (3).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the front bumper fascia upper molding. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Upper Molding Replacement (Left Side)Front Bumper Fascia Upper Molding Replacement (Right Side)
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (2) from the retainers (1).
- If equipped, remove the right side of underbody rear air deflector (1). Refer to Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel feed pipe fitting (4) from the fuel feed/evaporative emission separator hose. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (3) from the retainers (2).
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (3) from the vehicle.
