Removal Procedure

- Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe fitting (1) from the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the evaporative emission pipe (2) from the retainer (3).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the front bumper fascia upper molding. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Upper Molding Replacement (Left Side)Front Bumper Fascia Upper Molding Replacement (Right Side)
- Remove the evaporative emission pipe (1) from the retainers (2).
- If equipped, remove the right side of underbody rear air deflector (1). Refer to Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement .
- Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe (4) from the evaporative emission canister purge pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the evaporative emission pipe (3) from the retainers (2).
- Remove the evaporative emission pipe (3) from the vehicle.
