Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LV7) . Disconnect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve connectors.
1	Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve bolts. Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve (Qty: 2)

Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LV7) .
Disconnect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve connectors.

Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Bolt (Qty: 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure
Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve bolts.
Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)
