Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
- Remove the air inlet grille panel extension. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension Replacement .

Air Inlet Grille Panel Procedure
- Lift up the front edge of the air inlet grille panel and separate from the electrical wiring harness grommets at each end.
- Use a suitable plastic tool to release the air inlet grille panel from the windshield retainer.
- Pull the air inlet grille panel forward from both hood hinges.
- Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
- Transfer parts as needed.
