Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Lower Oil Pan -Lower Oil Pan Replacement 
  2. Fig 1: Electrical Connector And Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch

  3. Disconnect Electrical Connector (1) @ Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch (2)
  4. Remove Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch Bolt (3)
  5. Fig 2: Engine Oil Level Sensor Lead Clip And Sensor Connector

  6. Remove Engine Oil Level Sensor Lead Clip (1)
  7. Push the sensor connector (2) through the oil pan.

  9. Disconnect Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch (1) @ Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve Wire Clip (2)
  10. Remove Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch (1)
  11. NOTE:

    This step is necessary only if reusing the old engine oil level indicator switch.

  12. Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch O-Ring Seal (3) and DISCARD
