Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Clean all sealing surfaces.
- Assemble the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Assemble
- Install a NEW oil filter seal (1)
- Apply silicone sealing compound (1) to the oil pan surface. The thickness of the sealing bead (1) should be 3.0 - 4.0 mm (0.118 - 0.157 in).
- Install the oil pan (2) with the pins (1) in their holes.
- Loosely install the oil pan bolts. (1, 2, 3) (Qty: 15)
- Tighten Oil Pan Bolts (Qty: 15) in sequence to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- Install and tighten Transmission Bolts (1) (Qty: 2) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
- Connect Electrical Connector (1) @ Engine Oil Level Indicator
- Install the engine oil heater. Refer to Engine Oil Heater Replacement
- Install Exhaust Front Pipe. Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LH7) .
- Install the oil level indicator. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Replacement
- Fill and check the engine oil level. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
NOTE:
The complete installation procedure of the oil pan should be completed within 20 minutes.
