Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON
  2. Verify DTC P0033-P0035, P003A, P0046, P0070-P0074, P0087, P00AF, P00C7, P00E9, P00EA-P00EC, P0101, P0102, P0103, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0114, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0128, P0201-P0208, P020A-P020F, P0216, P021A, P021B, P0243, P0245-P0250, P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271, P0273, P0274, P0276, P0277, P0279, P0280, P0282, P0283, P02E0, P02E2-P02E5, P02E8, P02E9, P02EB, P02EE, P02EF, P02F0-P02F5, P0335, P0336, P0403, P0405, P0406, P041B-P041E, P042E, P042F, P049D, P0490, P0545, P0546, P062B, P062D, P0772, P0773, P111E, P113B, P118E, P122B-P122D, P1248, P1249, P124A-P124F, P1402, P1407, P140F, P1424, P1425, P1428, P16A0-P16A2, P2080, P2081, P2147, P2148, P2150, P2151, P2153, P2154, P2156, P2157, P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230, P2262, P2263, P22CF, P22D0, P22D1, P2459, P245C or P262B is not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify that none of the conditions listed below exist:
    • Binding, damaged or restricted intake air flow valve
    • Leaking or restricted intake system/charge air hoses
    • Leaking or restricted exhaust system/turbo charger
    • Wet or restricted air filter
    • Loose or improperly connected hoses
    • Damaged or missing components
    • If a condition is found 

      Repair as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If no condition is found 
  4. Verify that DTC P140B or P140C is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Clear all DTCs with a scan tool
    2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
    3. Verify that DTC P140B or P140C is not set.
      • If a DTC is set, replace the Q14 Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve
      • If no DTC is set.
    4. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If no DTC is set 
  5. All OK.
