Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON
  2. Verify DTC P02E0, P02E2, P02E3, P02E4, P02E5, P02EB, P0697, P122B, P122C, P1425 is not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Clear the DTCs with a scan tool, ignition Off for 1 min.
  4. Ignition On, verify DTC P122D is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Ignition Off.
    2. Verify the conditions listed below do not exist:
      • Intake air flow valve blade that is not in the rest position.
      • Intake air flow valve blade that is binding open or closed.
      • Intake air flow valve blade that opens or closes without spring pressure.
      • Dirt, debris or coking in the intake air flow valve.
      • Damaged intake air flow valve blade or shaft.
      • If a condition exists.

        Repair or replace the component as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTCs. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify a DTC does not set.
    • Go to next step: If no DTC sets 
  7. All OK.
