Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition On.
  2. Verify that no other reductant heater DTCs are set.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set 
  3. Command the Reductant heater 1 and 2 On and Off with a scan tool.
  4. Verify that the appropriate reductant heater parameter is between 0 - 25.5 A.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If within the specified range 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify DTC P1051 or P1052 does not set.
    • If a DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If no DTC sets 
  7. All OK.
