Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition ON,
- Verify with a scan tool that no other DTC is set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Verify with a scan tool that DTC P062B is not set.
- If DTC P062B is set
Refer to DTC P0601-P0604, P0606, P062B, P062F, P0630, P16F3 or P262B for further diagnosis
NOTE:Before proceeding ECM replacement it is necessary to perform the Ignition Relay Diagnosis to verify the ECM voltage supply circuit is not open or shorted.
- Go to next step: If DTC P062B is not set
- If DTC P062B is set
- Program the ECM with a scan tool, and verify that DTCs does not reset
- If DTCs reset
Replace the K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If DTCs does not reset
- If DTCs reset
- All OK.
