Installation Procedure

- Install Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2)
- Install Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (2) @ Wiring Harness Clip (3)
- Connect Electrical Connector (1)
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Install and tighten Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (2) to 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- If replacing, perform the exhaust gas temperature sensor reset. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Reset
- If replacing, perform the NOx catalyst reductant loading reset. Refer to NOx Catalyst Reductant Loading Reset

The guide lug (1) must fit the groove.
