Conditions for Running the DTC

P0401
- DTC P0071, P0072, P0073, P0074, P00E9, P00EA, P00EB, P00EC, P0101, P0102, P0103, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0114, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0502, P0503, P0722, P0723, P111E, or P262B is not active.
- Engine speed is between 750-2, 000 RPM.
- Calculated fuel rate is between 5-60 mm3
- Ambient air temperature is warmer than -7°C (19.4°F).
- Engine coolant temperature is warmer than 70°C (158°F).
- Barometric Pressure is greater than 69.6 kPa (10.9 psi).
- Ignition voltage is greater than 11 V.
- EGR valve position is greater than 0%.
The DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met for greater than 1 s.
P0402
- DTC P0071, P0072, P0073, P0074, P00E9, P00EA, P00EB, P00EC, P0101, P0102, P0103, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0114, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0502, P0503, P0722, P0723, P111E, or P262B is not active.
- Engine speed is between 1, 250-1, 900 RPM.
- Calculated fuel rate is between 21-36 mm3
- Ambient air temperature is warmer than -7°C (19.4°F).
- Engine coolant temperature is warmer than 70°C (158°F).
- Barometric Pressure is greater than 69.6 kPa (10.9 psi).
- Ignition voltage is greater than 11 V.
- EGR valve position is greater than 0%.
The DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met for greater than 1 s.
