Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine running, verify the scan tool parameters listed below display OK or Not Run.
    • Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status
    • Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status
    • Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status
    • Intake Air Flow Valve Control Circuit Shorted Test Status
    • If Malfunction 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If OK or Not Run 
  2. Clear the DTCs with a scan tool, ignition Off for 1 min.
  3. Ignition On, verify DTC P02E0, P02E2, P02E3, P02EB, P122B, P122C, or P1425 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTCs. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  5. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs set 
  6. All OK.
