  1. Perform a scan tool Compression Test. Refer to Fuel Injector Balance Test with Scan Tool .
    • If cylinder compression is not within specification 

      Refer to the appropriate engine mechanical repair.

    • Go to next step: If cylinder compression is within specification 
  2. Replace the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector.
