Circuit/System Description

The control functions for the fuel injection system are integrated in the Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM monitors changes in crankshaft speed using input from the crankshaft position sensor. The ECM adjusts the fuel delivery to each fuel injector in order to maintain correct fuel balance and minimize crankshaft speed changes.
